Our guest speaker will be The Right Honourable David Cameron MP who will speak about how, with your support, we can help create a movement that will generate citizen-led social action to transform our country.

Britain faces profound social, economic, and political challenges. As the election approaches, politicians are increasingly talking about the role that ordinary citizens can play in their local areas, far from the Westminster, to help get Britain back on its feet.

What is needed is action now, on a large scale, to prepare the country for the challenges we face is a new relationship between citizens and Government in which both are active and willing co-participants.

The Big Society Network is a movement being established to facilitate and mobilise people from across all walks of life to make a stand and do something about that state of our country, street by street, through practical, concrete action.

As someone who cares about the future of our country and as an active citizen, you are invited to join a small group of potential supporters with some of the founders of Teach First and the Big Lunch, who will talk about why they have decided to back this effort at this time.

Nat Wei, Executive Chair and our new CEO, Paul Twivy will provide an overview of the Network’s history, vision, and ambitions and will set out how it will operate, and how you can participate to help it grow and develop.
